Biography

War Kabinett was founded in 2004 by Dante Díaz as a school Project. The band was first called “Dante’s Inferno”, but after an exhaustive search, the name War Kabinett was chosen since it was a perfect match for the purpose and concept that the band wanted to show; the Systematic Fight against mass media manipulation through the power of music and art.

After several changes, a stable lineup was established in 2006. On the following months, War Kabinett went to the studio and in October of 2007 they released the EP “Weakminded” under the independent label “Sala de Audio”.

“Weakminded” opened the gates for War Kabinett to play as opening act for “SINNER” and “PRIMAL FEAR” shows in Mexico in 2009.

Then, in 2010 War Kabinett participated on the Wacken Metal Battle (Mexico) and due to their great performance they were invited to be the opening act for THERION in its Mexico City’s show.

In 2011, War Kabinett received the great honor of being invited as “Special Guests” of the legendary band “ACCEPT” for their concert in Mexico City, which was part of the Blood Of The Nations Tour.

In march 2009 was formed the “Kabinett Infernal Choir”, a symphonic choir integrated by singers of the “Coro Filarmónico Universitario” (National University Choir).

In August 2010 was formed the “Kabinett Orchestra”, with members of the National University Orchestra “OFUNAM” and the Minería Symphonic Orchestra.

By the end of 2011 War Kabinett released its first LP album, called “Made In Mexico”. The album features the powerful and genius participation of Henjo Richter, lead guitarist of power metal band Gamma Ray.

The album also features The Kabinett Infernal Choir and The Kabinett Orchestra.

Since its foundation in 2004 War Kabinett has defended the idea of holding no limits on the style of its music and in “Made In Mexico” they reaffirm this position and deliver what they designate as ”Hybrid Symphonic Metal”, a blend of several styles that run from Power and Speed through Thrash, Black and Death, combined with the majestic sound provided by a symphonic orchestra and choir.
